You can only vote on one answer.
one of my coworkers has perhaps the nicest butt on the planet. even though we've several years together and have done activities outside of work. i should probably keep my mouth shut

wish i could pin this comment...but maybe i need vip? ...but i had a female colleague tell me i was handsome... should i report her to hr? is there a difference commenting on someone's looks to their butt...i think not...read into what i'm saying
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@beermeplease how would we have known that without you saying it? How would we have read into that?

And actually there is no difference, they are both forms of sexual harassment and you could go to HR if you felt uncomfortable about it.
@iamonfire696 i work for a smaller company. we are all close. we have no hr. i took it as a compliment and was tickled pink that a 30 y/o would say that to a 50 y/o...tbh if i worked for a big corporation i still wouldn't be offended...but that's just me and i respect my coworkers....i assume they wouldn't like it if i said that they were pretty, even if they would take it as a compliment

Friends always. Coworkers never.

Keep your mouth shut

By all means, go ahead. Chicks love that. And make sure you call her that.
@Northwest she's actually really nice...not really a "chick"
Neman1622 · 41-45, M
Only if you've both had a few drinks together at a pub. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut

no..its required

There's no way to predict how she'll respond, she could be cool with you and still head to HR. I've seen guys get in trouble for less. It's risky and could negatively affect how you both get along, even if HR doesn't get involved. It sounds like a bad idea.
It's a very dangerous thing.

If you ever say it, it should be outside of work, like on a DATE with her.

In a just world, you could give it a slap. Everyone is so sensitive today.

I guess that's one way to get fired 😆
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
If you want to be reported for sexual harassment then go head but best to just keep that to yourself.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@uncalled4 That’s not right, how uncomfortable and awkward. I am sorry he did that to you.
@uncalled4 i would have freaked out if that happened to me.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@beermeplease It was more annoying than anything else. That guy ended up in a world of hurt(unrelated to harassment).
