@BarbossasHusband yeah totally understandable. I think I’d do the exact same thing or I’d put them in a box and send them to my new address the day I got on the plane. That way I wouldn’t go through customs with them and the delivery driver have no idea what’s inside.

@Morninglory69 I didn't have an adress until a couple of weeks after moving. My new job paid for a hotel the first 2 weeks so I could get everything settled. Had to get a debit card to get a home, and a home to get a debit card and whatnot. Anyway, I couldn't haveit shipped to my new country.

@Morninglory69 saddest part is I only stayed for 3 months before moving home. I could have just packed them up with the rest of the stuff I left behind 😔

@Morninglory69 in hindsight I should have known. I hadn't been abroad before at all, and I still decided to move to a country where I knew noone 😅

@BarbossasHusband ah ok. Interesting choice Scotland. The countryside hills, lakes etc is gorgeous up there the people are great but the accent and weather can be a challenge

@BarbossasHusband I live in England and I’ve never been to Scotland. Ha ha. Only been wales once when I was 10 on a school trip

@Morninglory69 I went to Brighton and London once. Was lovely. I even got to meet the handsome mr Bill Nighy

@BarbossasHusband oh shit that’s dope. Brighton good fun too with the pier bars and seafront. Pebbles on beach suck but great night outs there. London fun but a bit too chaotic at times

@Morninglory69 I stayed at a hotel very close to the pier. Every late evening, my friend and I had a can of coke on the terrace before going to bed, looking at the pier

@BarbossasHusband I went there on a piss up for the weekend. Stayed in a cheap crap hotel and went bed early
Ha ha. But I like the atmosphere there busy with people looking to have a good night out drinks etc
