With 2026 TV, a “Christian housewife’ is now a character archetype. It’s not a plot twist anymore. They see this character formula work in the past, and they keep reusing it because it works to get an audience.

Sure there is free porn everywhere.

But reality tv is not selling a view of private body parts. They are selling the contradiction —-> faith + family + sexual content creation as a lifestyle.

But you see, they found a different way to repackage this…. OnlyFans is a more recent way to monetize content creation for sex.

It takes advantage of people’s inclination for voyeurism. With oldie porn, it’s a one way detached viewership. With OnlyFans, they feel more engaged with the stream they paid for.

The voyeurism angle isn’t just about porn or sex. People want to watch other people’s lives, sometimes instead of focusing on improving their own.
It’s what makes reality tv work.
