I love the days back when men dress shirts were below-the-knee length with french-cuffs. Today, the only way to own shirt that length is either get it tailored or make your own. I am still wearing classic-length shirt today (it's a linen poet shirt) and it feels very comfortable when worn with waistcoat and suit, despite the climate change. You could tuck it under your trousers / breeches and the shirt will act as briefs. I wish I had found a true love for once, so I could enjoy ____ (fill the appropriate words here) with only that shirt on.
