@helenS Yup, the other hand being used to try to press it down at least a little to ensure it goes down the pan, rather than through the gap between seat and rim onto the floor!

@SW-User Ah yeah when I was younger having a long pee standing up would often make me feel light-headed or even close to fainting.

Far rarer now I'm older, which probably says something unhealthy about my blood pressure...

@TheThinker indeed it might. I have menieres disease and get violent vertigo attacks that can last hours so needed a solution to this issue. The frog is it

Actually my blood pressure is pretty good for my age but it's undoubtedly higher than when I was a young man.

Although to be honest I rarely if ever put one hand onto the floor, but I definitely do the "sit right back and lean right forward with one hand helping to point it down" thing.

And yes, to clarify, direction aside it's far more difficult to pee with an erection than normally, but it's not entirely impossible unless it's absolutely rock hard.
