In the annals of modern horror novels, the time just a bit before Stephen King began his career has a famed trilogy of huge hits, you may have heard of a couple of them at least.
They are
Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin, I had a paperback of it and the sequel, I recall the pages flew by, and I love the film with Mia Farrow, and story wise I felt annoyed for her being surrounded by evil people and her own hubby played by a great director turns evil right before our eyes!!
The Exorcist -- now here I have the audiobook so for sure will be listening to it read by the author himself William Peter Blatty. We all know the film, and that scene, you know with the crucifix is still kinda shocking to this day!! My mom told me a few times how she saw in the theatres and walked out on it.
and The Others, the movie is in my 31 Horror films post, and I have the book too!!
My 31 horror film festival is something I'm mildly proud of, it all plays in my region at least, some films I was grateful could be there, many others wouldn't show though.
