2/31 -- to be read by the end of this week right after HELL HOUSE

I had started this author's Anathema, and was really getting into it, it can be very scary, but scariness is subjective, however i also was annoyed by the characters, and then it fell out of favor for me, past 80% into it i doubt i'll bother finishing it.
But this one, this is the one most people talk about with Nick, mostly glowing and saying how scary it was, so i hope it works better for me than Anathema did, i'd like to say that he lives up to the hype and that Anathema was great for a debut and that he's perfecting his craft. I've read a couple short stories of his and they're not too bad either.
Speaking of short stories i pledge that during my 31 novel plan, i shall match that with 31 short stories!!
I want my brain to melt into these tales, and when finishing i may have more to say about the books and stories themselves.
