Have you read the classic sci-fi books?
Like Heinlein, Asimov, Clark and Orson Scott Card.
Or even classic fantasy like Tolkien, Anne McCaffrey, Terry Brooks and Piers Anthony.
Just those collectively make up a small library.
Yes I have read all of those books and thousands of other sci-fi/fantasy authors works.

@Lisaandchestnut try some Arthur C. Clark then similar types of topics and writing styles.
Movie 2001 a space Odyssey was based on his book.
Not a bad movie either.

Artificial intelligence is very real today. In fact Clark coined the word AI!
Clark like Asimov was a real scientist and had a small part in making the movie. He insisted certain things be real.
