I wonder if the Trump Administration sent them a war plan they intend not to act on, as a bluff to the Iranians.
Tucker Carlson has been claiming that they're planning a nuclear strike. I imagine he's full of shit, but anything's possible at that point. I do worry so much, how bad things could get. Even if it's a tactical (small) nuke to hit a bunker, Russia will view that as permission to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine and any other little pet war they want to engage in. Popping a nuke in a relatively minor war like this would just set such a wretched precedent about the role of nukes in international relations and likely lead to runaway nuclear proliferation.
