Election meddling is a near certainty

A lawyer who served inside Donald Trump's own White House went on national television and said it plainly: he believes it is now a near certainty that ICE agents will be present at polling locations in November.
He believes the purpose is to intimidate minority and immigrant voters — to frighten enough of them away from the ballot box to change who wins. And it doesn't stop at the polls. Trump could try again to seize voting machines, exactly as he wanted to in 2020, before his own attorney general told him there was no legal basis for it.
Our teams are preparing across the battleground states so that when agents show up to frighten voters this fall, trained people are already on the ground to stand with them, document what happens, and keep the polls open and safe.
If the only guardrail left is voters getting to the polls, then protecting those voters is the whole ballgame.
