All cities financially supporting Red States.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow minus Florida and Texas of course. They contribute their fair share
@AthrillatheHunt Texas maybe. But Florida outside the tourist traps is pretty poor. Orlando and Miami alone skew the numbers pretty bad.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow lots of places skew numbers . Chicago w gun violence , NYC w its billionaires , etc.. Florida is a contributor not a taker . It’s not hard to admit the truth
@AthrillatheHunt The truth is it is not that simple. How many billions in federal funds does the Federal government spend in Florida with FEMA every time there is a hurricane or tropical storm? And those are only going to become more frequent.

The simple fact is without FEMA Florida is basically screwed. But that is exactly what the GOP is doing anyway.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow in accounting , it IS that simple . Some states give more than they take . Florida is one such state . Why you even arguing this dude ? Pick a better hill to die on bro
@AthrillatheHunt Spreadsheets are not reality though and that is the point. Especially when you only look at a single set of data.

To get that number you just looked at transfer payments from taxes. That is not even remotely the whole story.

To use your account analogy. Do you just ignore the expenses that don't fit your worldview when bookkeeping?

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I now agree with you . Florida takes more than it gives .
