Let Us Pray For Our Leaders in Office

God expects us to pray for our decision in whom shall hold office in our nation, and for whichever leader takes office. Had Biden taken office as President of the United States, I feel it would have been my duty to respect the decision of the People and to pray for him as leader of our country, which I have done so in the past.

2 Chronicles 7:14 from the Bible. It states, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

God commands us to pray for all leaders, including those in authority. This prayerful approach is encouraged for various reasons, such as promoting peaceful and godly living, and aligning with God's will for those in positions of power.

The New Testament, particularly 1 Timothy 2:1-2, instructs Christians to pray for all people, including kings and those in authority. A general call to intercede for those in power, as praying for leaders is about aligning with God's will. Christians are encouraged to pray for wisdom, guidance, and righteous decisions for those in authority, trusting that God can work through them to achieve His purposes.

Praying for leaders, even those we may disagree with, is believed to have positive outcomes. It can lead to a more peaceful and orderly society, and it can also influence leaders to make decisions that benefit the people they govern.

Psalm 72 provides a prayer for a righteous king, highlighting qualities like justice, prosperity, and protection for the people. While this psalm is directed toward a specific king (Solomon), it offers insights into the kind of leadership that Christians should pray for, regardless of the specific leader.

Praying for leaders to have their hearts changed and to align with God's will, is also a common theme. This includes praying for wisdom, humility, and a desire to lead according to God's principles.

The emphasis on prayer is a call to trust in God's sovereignty and to seek His will in all circumstances, regardless of who is in power.

I've noticed some leaders are making lots of mistakes that can no longer be undone, than they switch other agendas as escape goats.

I can see God is working on them too, God puts them in aa confusion camp. God's Victory is getting closer.
