I thought he was. However, now that he offended millions of Latinos across the U.S. hiring that “comedian”, his chances will go down. And I’m here for it. If you’re in politics you need to be diplomatic. There’s no place for xenophobia, racism etc. because anyone under legal circumstances , notwithstanding their ethnic/racial background, can vote. That was a very bad move from the Republicans and I’m not even surprised. Unless Trump makes a public apology on that, I think things won’t go well for him. His vice already stated that “ it was no big deal “ and blamed it on Kamala Harris instead, who has nothing to do with the “ joke “ that guy made.
