With just over a month until Veterans Day, I want to remind all voters what Trump REALLY THINKS about our military—especially those honored dead who gave their lives to protect us and preserve our Democracy.
Before a planned visit to honor the American dead at a French cemetery at Belleau Wood just outside Paris in 2018, President Trump called the U.S. service members who were buried there during World War I “losers” and “suckers.” Trump was reluctant to visit the cemetery because he was concerned that the light rain would dishevel his hair and ruin his make up.
“Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers,” Trump reportedly told aides before canceling the trip to Belleau, France.
Well, Trump, I would ask you “Why should any veteran, their family members, anyone who ever lost a loved one defending our country ever vote for YOU?”
