What will Trump do if he loses?

If Trump loses the election, do you think he will back out of politics, and spend most of his time playing golf, or will he try to become some kind of GOP king-maker ? Do you think would be able to walk away, or is he too addicted to the spotlight?

When Trump loses he will claim somebody cheated. He did that when his TV show failed to win any awards.

He claimed fraud in 2016 in Iowa and Colorado caucuses, and in the general election even though he was elected, because he wanted to deny that Hillary won the popular vote.

In 2020 he conspired to bring 7 slates of false electors to be counted, and then staged his failed insurrection on Jan 6 when Mike Pence wouldn't count his false electors.

Yeah, he'll cry "fraud," that's what he does.

@ElwoodBlues how about the celebrities that vowed to leave the country if Trump won in 2016 ? Or do you hold them to a different standard ?
RockerDad · M
@Jake966 I’m not a celebrity, but I really don’t want to be a resident of TrumpLandia. I’m not sure if I’d be able to logistically pull off moving to another country right now, but a President Trump would never have my allegiance or respect. I would never stand behind him, and I would consider him an enemy.

@RockerDad that’s fine , you are entitled to your opinion
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@RockerDad but you will stand behind the people who do nothing for the American people , your choice
RockerDad · M
@Jake966 I refuse to stand behind someone as unworthy of the office as Trump. The events leading up to and including January 6th alone, should automatically disqualify him from ever holding public office again.

@RockerDad so what qualifies her to be president?
RockerDad · M
@Jake966 for starters, she didn’t try to overthrow the government. That’s a good start I think. Also, she was an Attorney General, and a former Senator, and a sitting Vice President, making her arguably the most qualified presidential candidate we have ever had, having served in all three branches of government.

@RockerDad what has she done to make a difference for Americans ?
RockerDad · M
@Jake966 maybe you can start by telling me what wonderful things Trump did …
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@RockerDad lower inflation , lower gas prices , stronger military , energy dependency just to name a few . Your turn
RockerDad · M
@Jake966 what did he actually do policy-wise to make those things happen?
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@RockerDad no , what has Harris done ? Oh that’s right ! $750 to those affected by the disaster in the south east . Really ? Trump has delivered so much more and showed up to personally reassure those people they will get more help . THATS LEADERSHIP !
RockerDad · M
@Jake966 is Harris president yet ?
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@RockerDad she is second in command , or supposed to be , and doesn’t show a personal interest in the people affected by the floods while the man who is not in any command and has been spending a lot of time and money defending himself against stupid charges they try to stick on him still comes to help and invest his money in helping
@Jake966 says
she is second in command , or supposed to be
DEAD WRONG!!

According to the Constitution, here is the job of the VP.
The Constitution names the vice president of the United States as the president of the Senate. In addition to serving as presiding officer, the vice president has the sole power to break a tie vote in the Senate and formally presides over the receiving and counting of electoral ballots cast in presidential elections.

John Nance Garner, VP to FDR, famously said that “the vice presidency is not worth a bucket of warm spit.”

John Adams famously described the vice presidency as “the most insignificant Office” ever devised.
