I have looked over the responses and I think many folks think the VP has to fulfil a defined role.... there is no 'defined role' for the VP except to be current on the State of the Union and be mentally equipped to step in when adversity requires it. It's simply "Insurance."
It's like being "First Lady" - the role is open and nobody should be criticizing it: Take it as 'bonus' for free.
As for criticizing Kamala Harris - If you're already critical then list the things that make her the 'worst' VP (not that you can) - don't cast doubt on her abilities looking into the future: She's going fill you in on those in the coming months.
