I vote for who I think can best do the job for the country and the American people. Since we only have Trump and Biden to choose from, (so far,) I would have to go with Trump as Biden is not at all mentally capable of serving another four years, and no one wants Harris to take his place.

@Stuffy I think he is the one that is slowing things down in Washington. I think his adversaries, the ones who hate anything Trump, are the ones that slow things down.
The conflicts he causes are IMO, caused by those wanting to stop him from doing the things he feels he needs to do to make our country better.
Kim of NoKo, was giving us a bad time. Trump went to NoKo and spoke with Kim. Things calmed down.
Trump met with Putin. Did Putin invade any countries while Trump was potus? No.
Trump met with Xi in China and while there was discussions/negotiations on tariffs and imports/exports, we were still at peace.
Trump is a hardcore, brash, businessman, not a politician. His style, his abrasiveness and his big mouth is what gets him into trouble but, he gets things done. He would have accomplished a lot more as potus if he didn't have the democrats fighting him and falsely accusing him on a daily basis.
Are there better, more qualified people that could take Trump's place? Of course their are, but at this time, no other republican has the draw power and popularity that Trump has.
Lastly, I believe that when Trump gets re-elected as potus, we will see a lot more positive changes being made in this country. (Of course, after Biden, almost anyone would be an improvement.)

@Stuffy They hate him because he wants to clean up the DC swamp. The democrats want to be in control of everything and everybody. They want to be able to control the people at any cost. Whether it be by giving out freebies and free money disguised as social programs, or by telling you what cars to buy, or by paying for your student loan. They don't care as long as they can control you.

@Stuffy Social programs that get paid for by who? The hard working taxpayers that's who. If the people on social assistance had to prove they are looking for legitimate work or prove they are not using illegal drugs, the number of people on social assistance would be cut in half.
Pushing everyone to buy EV's is fine if it's not forced on you to do so by the gov't. Like much of what the gov't does, they got it backwards. Before pushing the buying of EV's, they should have researched the materials and the environmental impact of those materials. Plus, they should have had the infrastructure ready to handle all the charging stations before pushing it so strongly. IMO, Biden was catering to the "green" people simply to buy their votes. Biden does a great job kissing up to the small percentage of people representing unpopular groups for votes.
Student debts should not be wiped out by the gov't. When people took these loans, they signed contracts promising to repay those loans and should do so. If the gov't wants to make it easier for them to repay those loans, they could have extended the time or lowered the interest. There is no reason those debts should be paid by taxpayer money.

@IM5688 Forgive me but I don’t know about pushing EVs. How are they pushing that is wrong? Government research is also paid by taxes right?
It’s a constant balance act about what’s and how much the government should do and how high the taxes should be.
My guess is that increasing efficiency of government spending should #1. But I don’t hear anything about it. I guess that too much to ask when there’s no agreement on what to do with peoples money.

@Stuffy IMO, the gov't should be run like a business. The gov't provides goods and services that we the people pay for with our taxes. Like any well run business, the gov't should make enough from our taxes to cover the expenses and make a profit and to be re-invested in up keep, upgrades, etc.
When our gov't runs out of money, they borrow money, but are suppose to adhere to a debt ceiling, which they don't do. What they do is continually raise the debt ceiling putting us in more debt. Look at it this way, you have a Visa card with a $5000 credit limit. You max out that card and then call up the bank and say you want your limit raised. Most of the time, they won't raise it. Only with the gov't, they keep raising the limit even though they can never pay it back.
If our gov't didn't keep throwing money away on nonsense, (and stuffing their own pockets,) maybe we could eventually have a balanced budget.

@Stuffy A good businessman makes good deals and runs a company or corporation, provides a service or something that people want. He did that.
If you are referring to his bankruptcies, filing bankruptcy does not necessarily make you a bad businessman. Bankruptcy was put in place by the federal gov't and is a right you can take if needed.
