scrood Maybe, for the sake of the party I would not be surprised if the lower tier candidates would not drop out before the primaries if they don't have enough support. In any case it is the end of Trump just a matter of how much damage he does on the way out. If he does not get indited and makes it through the primaries he will fail at the general. There are already as shown in the 2016 and 2020 elections more people who will vote democratic than republican, Trump lost both popular elections. His antics in office cost him the slim margin he had among independents which helped him win an electoral victory in 2016. Since 2020 if anything he has lost more, he is done.
