Certainly many people looking on from outside the U.S.A. reacted with astonishment to Mamdani's election.I guess it reflects the change in the demographics of New York over the quarter-century since that day,exactly 25 years ago.
@Gibbon If the people who voted for Mandami want to make "Escape from New York" a reality, that's on them. If something awful happens to those voters, they better not come crying to us.
