I Wish I Had An Honest President

Dear Americans,

Some non-Americans, like me, do care about your politics because America has a strong influence over worldwide affairs. In that vein I would like to request, respectfully, please don't inflict Trump on the world.

Thank you so much.

Lots of love, Fazer1k

You're clearly not familiar with clintons history

I know about some of the issues but maybe not everything. I believe she would be the far safer bet from a worldwide perspective. Too late now, anyway!

Economic collapse of america isn't going to do the world any good....

Deal with trump is he is a new yorker thru & thru....he may seem a bit crass & vulgar to many - fact is that's the way new yorkers express themselves...seems frightening if you've never spent time in NYC....

Other thing i noticed - he has an extremely limited vocabulary...his ability to express his ideas therefore quite compromised - doesn't mean he lacks intelligence nor ability - he just can't orate them eloquently...

If he was able to speak more effectively i believe he would have swayed significantly more voters...

@yllacsar: That's interesting to know. Thank you. And I have only spent a few days in New York but I can relate to what you say. I put it down to N.Y. being a hectic city and it seemed like everyone was in a hurry.

That's another thing - it's virtually impossible to be racist growing up in NYC....you're constantly surrounded by every concievable ethnicity ....
Sure there's some racial tension and much of natural discord amongst the atavism of cultural microcosms....BUT - judging individual people by ethnicity is uncommon...
You seldom hear an INDIVIDUAL described by race/creed....

Assertations of trumps racism is absurd

@yllacsar: Yes. New Yorkers can difficult to take at first. They often wear an abusive crust that may feel threatening to the outsider. I lived there for a few months and was a frequent overnight visitor for years.

There's an old joke about New York City, about why passerby respond indifferently to taxi-cab drivers being mugged, and don't interfere. It's that they don't know which is the victim.
