Most of the good blue collar stuff is high floor lower ceiling. Far less debt, faster income. Need to step into the owner shoes to fill that millionaire job.

Tell ya what, there's going to be an opening for a boiler guy in a few months! The countdown clock is ticking louder!

@GerOttman I wonder if any gals will take this opportunity?
GerOttman · 70-79, M
@DogMan we had 2 girls for a bit. One quit and the other goes by Mark now!

@GerOttman Yeah I had a female project manager for a few years, until she started making
way too many mistakes. More came to light after I let her go. It cost me over 100k after she was
gone. I was paying her over 100k per year. She went to the competition LOL. She can screw them
up next.

So many young people were sold a bill of goods. Skilled trades bad! Liberal arts degrees good!

Women make up over half of the workforce in trades like medical, culinary, and cosmetology, but for skilled trades as a whole–which includes jobs like plumbers, electricians, mechanics, and even paralegals–women make up only 4% of the total workforce.

Not sure why they include Paralegals in trade jobs.
