Why are Trans people able to buy guns?

Gender Dysphoria is a mental problem. I thought those with mental problems could not buy guns.

2 weeks ago in Canada another Trans person killed 9 people. It seems that .1% of people are committing
50% of mass shootings.

Why isn't anyone talking about this phenomenon?

Historically trans people have not been involved with mass murders as the following says.

The Gun Violence Archive, an independent organization that tracks gun-related violence in the U.S., defines mass shootings as incidents in which there are “a minimum of four victims shot, either injured or killed, not including any shooter who may also have been killed or injured in the incident.” Under this standard, there were 5,748 mass shootings between Jan. 1, 2013, and Sept. 15, 2025, according to the GVA. “OF THAT NUMBER OF INCIDENTS, there have been FIVE CONFIRMED Transgender shooters,” Mark Bryant, the GVA’s founding executive director, told us in an email.

The problem is that those 5 mass murders were committed within the last two years, and now
the total is seven, in the past two years. From 2013 to 2023 Zero murders by trans people.

Why the change?

If you asked me, trans people are part of the LGBT phenomenon. It used to be just lesbians and gays, a harmless lot best left to themselves. Guns are abhorrent to them and the two do not mix. Then, the trans strain got virulent and started affecting mainline macho men. These guys need order in their lives. They are freight trains that need to run on tracks. When we start messing with traditional social structures, we are fooling with those tracks.
