Will Trump save the farmers

Farmers across the country are looking at record yields during their fall harvest. They may have nowhere to sell them.

As a result of President Donald Trump’s trade war with China, crop farmers have lost a significant export market, driving down the price of top U.S. crops like soybeans and corn, even as Trump’s tariffs drive up the cost of farm equipment and fertilizer.

The question should be..
Will trump save the farmers with the taxes he has collected from you and me, in the disguised form of tariffs?
And to be clear, last time around, farms were rescued, for a minute. Many were bankrupted. Many tapped out and sold out. Guess to whom.
Also, farmers overwhemingly voted for trump. There are scores of videos of farmers crying about that vote.
Uninformed and/or uneducated, or so hateful that voting against their own interests seemed prudent.
And this is only the beginning.
We aren't even talking about unharvested crops laying in fields for lack of farm labor.

@Carla So what if he does Carla? The Biden Admin wasted 100s of billions on DEI projects around the world, I think
farmers are a little more important. We will revisit this issue next year when all the numbers are in.

@DogMan your numbers are based on musk's false claims.

Farmers were not important to this administration. They were tools. Like all of trump's voters.
And now you are advocating for socialism. While farmers just want to farm. And farming conglomerates are foaming at the mouth, waiting to acquire these failing farms at sixty cents on the dollar. While also receiving bailouts.
This administration is a failure. On all fronts.

@Carla Ok, now don't get over dramatic. Farmers have been getting help from the government for a hundred years.

Republicans do not want corporate farms. I look forward to proving you wrong on the failure claim. Sometimes you
have to go through a little discomfort to get things done.

@DogMan yes, of course. A little pain. Like losing a generational farm to bankruptcy. While seeing their crops, rot.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Carla That is not good. This is why I started this thread. Trumpy better figure out something fast, or Republicans
will have a tough time in the midterms.
Carla · 61-69, F
@DogMan if there is a midterm. Do you understand that trump is sensationalizing small peaceful protests, declaring the protesters as terrorists, to justify sending in forces to agitate the populace? This will be his reasoning to declare martial law. He was all over ukraine postponing elections because of the war there.
A real war. People dying and cities razed.
We have never, wartime or peacetime, cancelled or postponed elections.

But that is only my opinion. As it was my opinion that trump's economic policies would cripple the farming industry. And he would sanction disappearing people off the streets to be illegally thrown into camps. Citizens, legal immigrants, illegal immigrants....grandmothers...terribly ill children.
If you cannot see that this administration is facistic, inhumane, a criminal organization(you get your new trump watch yet? Or how about your trump 2028 hat?) then you arent inclined to look.
It isn't a horrible thing to admit you were wrong all along. That is what a person that chooses to use their critical thinking skills would do. That's what a true patriot would do.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Carla Don't worry yourself silly Carla, we will have elections. We will NOT have martial Law.

Stop letting the media drive you crazy. Antifa is stopping the Feds from enforcing the laws that both Democrats
and Republicans enacted. I know your media won't allow the violent videos to be shown, but they are
nevertheless happening.

If Democrat politicians do not want illegals deported, they need to change the laws they voted for.

Only Nazis ignore laws that they themselves enacted. Why have a law if you are not going to enforce it?

Why are Democrats not saying that they want to change the laws to allow anyone on the planet to come
to America and feed on our system? Why? Because Americans do not want people to come here
illegally.
Carla · 61-69, F
@DogMan no one wants people here illegally. Not for votes. Some business owners do indeed prefer illegal labor as it is easier to cheat and control them.
What people do want, though, is to make immigration less difficult. Charging those who wish for a visa a hundred grand isn't how it's done. Neither is removing people with valid visas. Those given temporary status. Citizens that are brown.

Btw...immigrants pay billions into our system, getting little in return.

Ice is a private, masked militia, untrained, unqualified,, to act as trump's brownshirts.
If you cannot see the similarities, you don't read. No one enacted a law that gets a praying pastor shot in the head with gas shots. Pepper rounds.
Or to throw citizens to the ground because of some yelling.

The media doesn't drive me crazy. The lawlessness, petty retribution and a frickin ball room kinda does.
So does the idea that one prime, dry age ribeye costs $98.00. Same cut that was $65.00 a few short months ago.
Coffee is way up as well. Produce. Really, everything. And as i said earlier, this is only the beginning.
