Canadians should "Comply" with home invaders

Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween told residents not to take justice into their own hands when confronted by criminals, saying, “The best defense is to comply.” His comments come as Premier Doug Ford and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre demand reforms to Canada’s self-defense laws.

Home invaders across Canada cheer, knowing that less people will fight back. Maybe they should just take guns away from law
abiding citizens to make it even easier for criminals.

Well if someone busts into my home and he's got more muscle and firepower than I do, then I'm going to do whatever it takes to keep my family safe. If that means, they take my stuff and go, fine. Now, if there's only one of them, and I get the chance to brain him with a frying pan, then I might decide that's even safer, but I think more often than not, my stuff is all they'll be interested in.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Ok, that is fine if you want to do that. But when the authorities say this out loud, they are
sending a message to "would be" home invaders, that their job has been made easier.
