Property values have dropped 57% since 2020. That is so weird, I wonder why? I have read that it

The drug epidemic and the homeless epidemic is the reason why businesses are pulling out of Portland. The amount of crime and inaction from local leaders to protect businesses has left people not wanting to be there. Legalizing all drugs and just expecting no fallout was stupid. I don't know why the residental housing is so expensive because it's not like there is anything great being offered. The only thing that is doing is making the homeless issue worse as you can't even afford even a studio in Portland.

They've built the type of city they wanted (crap-hole). Looks like they're solving the housing affordability crisis by making all properties become devalued. They should build a statue of their hero George Floyd.
