Reclassify Crime

This is a proven method for Democrat politicians. Change Felonies to misdemeanors, and change misdemeanors to non-crimes.

This is a proven way for weak, timid politicians to make crime rate statistics look better.

Zohan Mamdami pledges to do this in NY if he is elected. This will be great, criminals from all over
will flock to NY in order to become non-criminals. They will be able to legally take anything they
want up to 950.00.

This is what Zohan said:

TOPICS:

(TNND) — Zohran Mamdani, the democratic mayoral candidate for New York City wants to end the enforcement of all misdemeanor offenses.

Felonies will be automatically reduced to misdemeanors.

Watch the crime rates fall. Zohan will become a hero based on the new statistics.

Democratic mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani and his comrades at the Democratic Socialists of America want to wipe out the enforcement of all misdemeanor offenses, The Post has learned.

In its most recent platform, the group blasts policing and detention as “instruments of class war” designed to “guarantee the domination of the working class” — and demands an end what it calls “the criminalization of working-class survival.”

“For all of the working class to achieve collective liberation we must constrain, diminish, and abolish the carceral forces of the state — from prisons and police themselves to their manifestations in all forms throughout society,” the party’s website reads.

On the campaign trail, Mamdani has called for police to stop focusing on “non serious crimes.”

So us New Yorkers can look forward to lower crime statistics then ?

@AthrillatheHunt That's great news huh? As long as the statistics look good, you will be safe from crime. 🍻

Meanwhile...the fbi is no longer prioritizing white collar crime. They are currently allocating their resources to accommodate ice.
I will lay odds that most white collar crime nets far more than nine fifty.

@DogMan google it. Im over giving people info just for that info to be discarded.
It will take you no more than twenty seconds...

@Carla I see people SAYING that is what is happening.

• Over 6,000 immigration arrests have been made since January 2025, while white-collar crime prosecutions dropped by nearly 14%.

OK, maybe white-collar prosecutions HAVE dropped 14% But they didn't say it started under Trump.

And I do not see people on the right saying we should not go after white collar crime,

I also do not see where they have said white-collar felonies should be changed to misdemeanors. Have you?

Have they said white-collar misdemeanors should not be prosecuted? No, they have not, and that is the difference.

@Carla . White-collar criminal prosecutions were up from 2020. Now, the 2020 numbers were likely low due to the COVID-19 pandemic which limited the government’s ability to investigate and bring cases. According to the United States Sentencing Commission Quarterly Data Report, white-collar crime (fraud, theft, embezzlement, and money laundering) totaled 9.7% of all criminal cases in 2021, an increase from 8.9% of cases in 2020. There has, however, been a longer term trend of fewer white-collar cases. According to the TRAC Reports, compared to long-term trends, white-collar prosecutions in 2021 were down about 25% from five years ago and down about 50% from 2011 and 2001.

Although numbers were down in 2021 compared to past years, there were a number of high-profile white-collar trials in 2021. Some of these cases include.

Yes, apparently Biden did crack down on white-collar crime, but it is still less than 10% of all crime. They say it is down 14% under
Trump. Is that a lot? DC said they dropped overall crime by 30% before Trump brought in the guard. How did they do that?

That is absolutely insane!
DogMan · 61-69, M
The good thing about this is that Criminals from DC can easily move there and take advantage of people
legally.

Can he move a felon to just a criminal being just a mayor?
DogMan · 61-69, M
@specman He said he going to try. And since most of the legislature is far left, he should be able to do it.
