The British, French, Portugese, Dutch and Spanish all had presence in the Americas before there was a United States. Similar with their colonies /settlements in foreign lands they ruled elsewhere around the world. The Egyptians, Romans, Vikings, Huns, Moors, Monguls, Mayans, and even the native Indians in the U.S. took lands from others.
No doubt, native Americans got a raw deal in the expansion of the United States. But lets be honest .. it occurred in the way so many other historical empires rose, in the way that was common of the times.
So precisely how is the US worse than any other country that did such things of their time that we judge as wrong today? Where are you from that has no such similar action in their past?
