America will continue to be the world leader, as we are seeing now. The middle east is investing Trillions
in the United States. The United States of America is the place to be. That is why so many risk their
lives to get here.

It has lost value in the last 4 years, but big things are happening. Have no fear, The USA will make the
world a better place.

@DogMan currently Qatar is buying the american president and he's openly displaying the baubles and inducements.

Investments in america are being offered at a discount thanks to that same president's incompetence - I too recently bought american companies at an enormous discount for that very reason. I have now sold them for a healthy profit and will do the same when that american buffoon once again crashes the american economy (it won't take long)
I call it the trump dump-pump-dump-pump-dump...

America is rapidly becoming irrelevant.

@swirlie Yes, I was astonished! I sat here in New Zealand and bought american companies at enormous discounts. Despite my broker's assurances I seriously thought it had to be some sort of sophisticated trap.

The part that baffled me was that trump is imposing enormous new taxes on all americans (which is all that tariffs are) and they were enthusiastically cheering!

Only two things are infinite: the Universe and human stupidity - but I'm not sure about the Universe

@swirlie Yes, and it's now so commonplace that we just take it for granted. My daughter is currently in London and this morning I watched her (well, her phone) in real time travelling home from her evening shopping trip 😀

I'm in Wellington - it's 10 o'clock on Friday morning here and a beautiful autumn day. Not a cloud in the sky but a little chilly.

It's 6pm on Thursday evening here in Toronto and we're just coming into our springtime where tomorrow promises to be hot and humid, but just 2 hours north of here they have snow forecasted for the weekend!

@newjaninev2 I have the luxury of a shopping mall including 3 supermarkets and 100 specialty stores at the top of the street. Including several good cafes for coffee..😷
