Trump is bringing back coal

President Donald Trump signed a series of executive orders Tuesday aimed at revitalizing America’s “beautiful clean coal industry”—an objective that stems from his first term and comes amid growing demand for electricity sources to power artificial intelligence data centers.

I can hear the left now. "Trump wants to kill us all with dirty air"

Yeah.. We had a flirtation with the idea of clean coal before our last election a few years back.
"The Japanese are working with it" was the cry. Then someone pointed out the actual costs of making the coal clean with special inconerators and filters and it made the electricity more expensive.. This time the same conservative party has the brilliant idea to build nuclear power plants that will take a decade to build, if the technology proved out. And even then, you guiessed it, the power will be more expensive .. America doesnt have a monopoly on Morons..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I guess since Democrats no longer like EV's,
we won't need all that extra power. Maybe Tesla will start making ICE cars.

@DogMan I empathise with you here. Both sides of your politics are terminally corrupt. And I fear there is no road back from where you are that doent involve a lot of pain. Its going to be a bumby ride..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman It looks like other countries are coming to the table, it should work out.

Hopefully China doesn't release another virus like they did when Trump screwed them last time.

I believe there could be another virus, or an attack on our country. Infrastructure, power grid etc..

@DogMan Its nice to live in one of those legal weed states. The only nation of consequence with any reason to come to the table is Japan. Firsts because it has not finished selling off its $US yet. Second, because the big corporations there draw most of their GNP from production in other countries, including America itself. Most Japanese imports dont actually count as Japanese..😷
