Are you buying American?

It doesn't matter what side of the aisle you are on, we should ALL be trying to buy American.

As a construction material contractor, I didn't realize how much of our material was made
overseas. Last week, after the Tariffs went into effect, the very next day manufacturers
levied Tarfiff surcharges on us. Most of them are between 25 - 35%.

We have told them all, OK, we will buy American. We have already opened new accounts
with manufacturers, and reactivated old accounts.

The sad thing is, I believe many on the left will NOT buy American, because they hate
Trump far more than they love this country.

Nope, not any more. And I'm informing people around me, in Europe, why they should stop buying American goods as well.

With allies like the orange capo di tutti capi we don't need enemies anymore.

attacks you. Zero tarfiffs = Free Trade. Or don't you want free trade?

The European way is, Charge the U.S. a 130% Tariff, and the U.S.
will only charge you 25%. How about equal Tariffs? What? can't you survive
without charging the U.S. huge tariffs? Is that what you are saying?

Attack? We're in high speed creating and growing our own defense industry. The billions spent in the States on arms by us, will not go to you anymore soon. We don't need an ally that is disloyal and not trustworthy.

@DogMan Actually other countries attacking others countries isn't likely to happen. You have countries allying up with countries they wouldn't have otherwise with Trump in office. So you're seeing new alliances formed. I wouldn't be in a hurry to say that others will need America when people are working on other deals and strengthing their own counties

Trump said the same thing to Canada, but keep in mind that the one and only time that any country has ever attacked Canada was during the war of 1812 when the USA attempted a hostile takeover in it's attempt to annex Canada.

Let me remind you that Canada kicked America's ass back then, thereby causing a full American retreat after 9 consecutive failed attempts to annex Canada.

The only country in the world that anyone has to worry about attacking them is the USA and now the world knows that the USA cannot be trusted.

@DogMan You don’t. Trump lies. There is a tariff of less than 3,5 %.

We have a sales tax here (VAT) which Trump counts as a tariff. It is not. That is paid equally by Americans and Europeans.

far as Hawaii. We ARE the sleeping giant. We can still retool our plants at anytime to turn us
into the war machine we were during WWII John Deere alone can crank out tanks and such
anytime they want.
