The identity of the pilots, is being closely guarded. All they said was " They are experienced"
That usually means flights hours, it is very easy to rack up flight hours. I would like to know
how experienced they are at landing in unfavorable conditions. Delta is saying that they
were in fact experienced in different conditions.
What we do know is that the plane is a Canadian made Mitsubishi CJR-900. It had a rapid
rate of descent, and did not flare up before landing. Experts agree that there should have
been voice warnings going off, telling the pilot to pull up.
