Why are Democrats afraid of Trump?

I believe they are afraid of him getting things done, that they have been unable to do.

I believe that anything Trump does that is good for the people, will be bad for Democrats.

I believe that Democrats would rather see another pandemic, than allow Trump to
succeed at anything.

Democrat party won't exist anymore.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@GeistInTheMachine They will be back. They are just hobbled for a while.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@DogMan Nah. I think their back is truly broken.

Only one party left to go!
DogMan · 61-69, M
@GeistInTheMachine Democrats are still 1/2 of the country. We are just one
pandemic away, from them being in charge again.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@DogMan Dogman, Dems are only near half of the VOTING population.

Most Americans are either disengaged, or
are unrepresented/disenfranchised, Third Party/Independent. Not everyone is a binary Coca-Cola/Pepsi Red/Blue 'Merican.

A lot of people are tired of this Neoliberal duopoly system. We need to move in a more TRUE Populist direction.

If Trump increases the Neoliberalism by cutting taxes for the wealthy, free market nonsense, printing Fed fiat money and Neocon war debt spending, bailing out the banks, etc, (which I bet he will), the stock market will crash again and the system will burn like Hell and you will see a new American Revolution from there.

And it won't be pretty and it won't be "United" under some Zionist Globalist agenda, I can tell you that much for certain!

We need to build more Walls.

Good Fences makes for good neighbors, until we can manage things in a calm, organized manner. Not this Habsburg Empire chaos trashfire we have going on now.

This is a transition period prior to a revolution. You will see, sir.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@GeistInTheMachine Trump will reduce Taxes for all those who pay taxes. Will you
take a tax cut? How about when grocery prices and energy prices come down?
Will that help you at all?

I'm hoping interest rates stay high. All of my houses are paid off, and I have no debt.
At 5 1/2% interest, I made over 30K last year in interest.

But it's OK, I will give it up if it helps others, after all, I am a Compassionate
Conservative at heart.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@DogMan None of that is enough. Too little, too late.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@DogMan if democrats prefer, we could allow them to pay higher taxes and pay higher prices for for everything so they can virtue signal.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@GeistInTheMachine What country is your favorite? which one would you like
to emulate? I don't think what you want, even exists. There is no utopia.

Are you suffering? do you have a good job? will you retire comfortably?
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@DogManI don't buy it that he will reduce taxes. They are price gouging at stores. Corporations get away with murder in this country. Don't get me started on the healthcare.

You may be set for life Boomer, but there are others after you and we are not happy one iota.

It's not about anarchy. You just can't understand the big picture, here. We need a multipolar world and the rise of BRICS for a balanced global economy.

People don't come here because they like it, they come here because of neoliberal IMF market forces and all the foreign instigated wars America wages.

America is not the greatest country. Russia is stronger if you haven't been paying attention, and China has a better economy. Even Iran is rising up in the Middle East. Meanwhile , look at America and the West.

We are in shambles, sir. A house divided cannot stand. It is done. Your generation broke it. After you have crossed over, this national "experiment" is not going to be continuing in the way that it is.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@MasterLee We already have that situation.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@GeistInTheMachine Whatever you say. But don't blame YOUR failures on me.

I'm an ex-con with a high school diploma. If I can make it, anyone willing to put
in the work, can make it. You make yourself a victim. Don't do that. Get out
and make your life. People younger than you are doing it. It is not GIVEN to you.

Follow the "Desiderata" it will do you good.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@DogMan No one is adopting a victim mentality. Not all Boomers had it easy, but when you were young, things were a lot more affordable, that is a fact.

Your generation has a notorious narcissistic reputation for good reason. Your ideology is part of the problem, not mine. Your ideology has made mine inevitable.

And this isn't about personal economic grievances. You're trying to turn this into a personal individual thing, and that is the main flaw in conservatism and Neoliberalism and precisely what they don't work. It just leads to atomization and alienation from society and more fractures.

I work training Artificial Intelligence and I went to university. You almost have to at this day in age (but a trade is probably better at this point). But that isn't the point. You made this into a personal matter, when it really isn't.

This is about building a stable society at large, because right now this "Greatest Country on Earth" is running itself and the planet into a nuclear black hole.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@DogMan Trump has NEVER paid tax anywhere so that should be interesting .
