@whowasthatmaskedman no. Because 48 states of 50 is voter takes all electorates. It has little to do with the popular vote.

That is why gerrymandering works. They only need to get 51%. And ALL of the states electorate is theirs.

Trump: "i only need 11870 votes"!

That's why that number. Winner takes all electorates. That was Georgia!

For it to be fair, the electorial system NEEDS to be dumped, at least on presidential elections.

Please remember Clinton lost the electorial vote. Yet won the popular vote. And why we had Trump as president the first time.

@DeWayfarer The US system is FUBAR from start to finish. Election funding. Provision of voting facilities. An independent standardized vote count and integrity system and as you note , the pure gerrymander through clumping..And until ALL of that is fixed (which it wont be) elections are not going to be fair..😷
