Hobby Lobby's owner is well known as a hardcore bible thumping republican.
My mother used to love that store when I was a kid, for the yarn, card stamps, and candle making stuff. But some aisles were just weird AF as you discovered.
I 've never bought anything there as an adult (I once bought cheap oil paints and canvas there as a teenager) when I understood better what hobby lobby stood for
