No man has ANY standing or right to offer an opinion on Abortion

It is the height of temerity for ANY man who can cause a Woman to become pregnant to express an opinion on pregnancy. One example of such hypocrisy is Hershel Walker who has ZERO standing to express an opinion on the subject.

The view "men shouldn't have opinions on abortion!" is so pitifully stupid that it's almost laughable, especially when we consider that the people saying it ARE offering an opinion on the matter.

Moreover, you surely do realize that it takes a man *and* woman to create a child? Men don't just "cause" women to get pregnant. Women have sex with men and if they don't use contraception and/or request that he uses a condom, they get pregnant.

As the child is a result of both mommy and daddy, and half of each, an interested father has a right to state his opinion on whether his child is aborted or not. Similarly, all other men who care about children should be able to share their views.

No one who is sane wants to live in a world where women get to make all the rules and decide the value of other human life.

@NerdyPotato What about the life who didn't ask to be there? Why should it have to pay the price for irresponsibility? It has ALWAYS been legal to save a woman's life. It seems odd to me that a lot of women in life or death situations are sad that their baby has to die for them to live

@missyann Western LAW is based upon Biblical Law.. The Jewish sages said in the Talmud that the fetus possesses potential life while the Mother possesses actual life AND that the life of the Mother supersedes the life of the Fetus... they go on to not only allow abortion on an unrestricted basis but to REQUIRE it to the moment of BIRTH to save the life of the Mother.. (late term abortion)... so when you think you KNOW the basis - you need to know the original source for it... Its not YOUR call, not your feelings, Not your emotion that is involved it is a matter of FACTS...
@missyann nobody is talking about paying a price for irresponsibility. Abortions are very rarely used as an alternative to birth control.

That should be NOBODY should decide for a woman if she needs or wants an abortion!

I have an idea. Let’s make it unlawfully for a man to masturbate unless it is in a sperm bank. Think of all those innocent babies killed in those wasted gallons of sperm!!! Any man caught masturbating to completion with no intent to procreate should be arrested!!
Let’s see what they’ll say about that.

@eMortal You really have nothing better to do?

@in10RjFox what is this a contest to determine the most repulsive idiot ?
Pretzel · 61-69, M
so are there any other topics that half of the world's population can't have an opinion on?
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@Pretzel Oh opinions are ok, expressing them with no standing is not ok...
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@Pretzel What is the man getting in exchange?
Pretzel · 61-69, M
@pdqsailor1 the same thing I get for the food that I don't eat that I purchase on behalf of the other members of the household. the knowledge that I am providing goods and services to those that I love
in10RjFox · M
That's stupid. Husband has every right over his wife's pregnancy and abortion cannot take place without him agreeing for it.

But yours is true for single women who get pregnant for it becomes her individual decision and even the male who impregnated her has no say on the matter.
Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M
@pdqsailor1 Impossible you can’t knock sense into him
in10RjFox · M
@Strictmichael75 😀😀😀 one has to have sense to knock into someone..
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@Strictmichael75 perhaps but no one could fault me for trying and just think how satisfying it would be!

I disagree with the assumption that no man has the right to an opinion.
There are men who are doctors and others who have done resaearch on the ramifications of having abortions be legal vs. havibg them be illegal.
Certainly there are some men who have sufficient knowledge of the issue to offer an opinion on the subject....but Herschel Walker is not one of those with such qualifications.
He is (as is anybody) entitled to have an opinion about anything.....but that doesn't mean that he should be "preaching" his opinion (which akppears to be hypocritical). He's also not qualified to be in Congress, but he can't be stopped from running or from serving if elected.
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@DragonFruit But we can do our best to educate people so they can choose not to elect him. HE has no right to express his opinion and we must keep it this way...
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@DragonFruit Those men who are doctors have their degrees to serve patients and what happens between a patient and a doctor is none of anyone else's business..
I totally disagree. We should all be able to speak on issues that don't affect us directly. Especially since, in the long run, abortion affects the entire country.
But I do agree Walker has zero standing. Not because he's a man, but because he's a liar and a hypocrite.

There is a difference between having an opinion and having an intelligent, productive opinion. Regardless of whether one is a man or a woman.
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@Pinkstarburst There is a difference between having an opinion and having any right to express or act on that opinion.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
You're just objectively wrong. It's the man's god-given right to care about his unborn baby.
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@MartinTheFirst and you decide what rights G-d gives? You have no such right . Your temerity to presume is vulgar.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@pdqsailor1 It's my God given right to preach my faith in God and his word.
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@MartinTheFirst just not to me it’s not! Remember I am free to delete your posts so when you comment on my posts you shall play by my rules and behave civilly
MartinII · 70-79, M
I think that’s a disgraceful opinion.
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
Personally and only my thinking on the matter there should be a pill for men, then there probably would not be this problem or a lot fewer cases.
pdqsailor1 · 61-69, M
@Justenjoyit But unless such a thing exists....
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
@pdqsailor1 I think they dont want to bring it to the mahket
