@th3r0n Missile stockpiles and power are mutually exclusive. Missiles are not magic and resupply themselves.

Even before all of this the US Navy even admitted to congress that they have lost the ability to re-arm ships at sea.

They also blew through 25% of the stockpile in the first 12 days of the conflict. Wars are often won by basic math.

@th3r0n No. You don't announce a massive attack and then just say "just kidding" unless there is a problem.

They are also already rationing interceptor missiles. That is a fancy way of saying they are already deciding what they will allow to be blown up because they don't have enough to stop them all.


As for how the Navy lost that capability that is easy. They have not bothered replacing resupply ships.

Most of NATO navies have the same probelm.

So this means once a ship fires off all their missiles they have to run back to a few specialized friendly ports for resupply.

Iran has already completely destoryed one of those ports which used to be the home of the 5th Fleet.

The specialized cranes and what not are now scap metal.
