As long as Japan sends a letter in the mail to the President of the USA before Japan nukes America, everything should be okay. But for Japan to nuke the USA without sending at least a little memo in the mail ahead of time providing full disclosure for Japan's reason for nuking America, then the whole plan will fail.
The whole plan will fail because Joe American would never suspect that Japan still held a grudge after all these years and he would never connect the dots that somehow linked Japan's nuking of America with America's nuking of Japan in 1945. After all, why would one nuking be related to another such nuking?
Always remember that Americans are smart when it comes to buying used cars, but Americans are really not a brilliant culture of people genetically.
Always remember as well that when dealing with Americans, you must always give them ample heads-up notice of at least 5 business days that you intend to nuke them on the weekend that follows and always pre-state your reason for doing so.
