If WW3 happens in the Middle East, it won't be safe to live ANYWHERE in the USA. This is because the US will have finally painted itself into a corner from where there is no recovery from as America turns inward and once again becomes a deeply cocooned, Isolationist, Protectionist Nation unto itself like it was during WWI and half way through WWII.
The ONLY thing to stock up on right now would be hand guns and ammunition for those guns because the USA will become a free-for-all and day to day survival in America will depend on how good you are at stealing from your neighbor without getting killed yourself.
