How many people were marching in the streets of cities across the United States calling for a humanitarian pause in February 13-15, 1945?

The Dresden bombing was wrong, but comparing it to the situation in Gaza is giga idiotic.
@BohemianBoo You think Gaza is worse? 🤔
@flipper1966 Yes, because WWII was an actual war between countries, whereas Israel is just committing endless war crimes against their own prisoners.
Not that I think the Allies should be celebrated, they committed plenty of war crimes both during and after WWII. Plus the entire war was started over Germany invading Poland, just so the Allies could then hand Poland over to the Soviet Union.
@BohemianBoo With Hamas' armaments, the Gaza war is just about the equivalent of a war between two countries.

@flipper1966 So if a group of American terrorists amasses like 30, 000 followers, we should regard them as a separate country? And at that point, we should bomb hospitals and schools if these terrorists are anywhere near them?
@BohemianBoo You referred to Gazans as "prisoners." Unlike prisoners, Hamas has amassed an arsenal that makes it to some degree, in terms of sophistication and lethality, the equivalent of a state army. Today The Washington Post reported that Hamas has at its disposal shoulder-fired rocket-propelled grenade launchers and antitank missiles, modern sniper rifles, paragliders, RPGs, “magnet bombs,” one-way attack drones, mini-subs, land mines, antitank missiles and long-range rockets, which now can strike as far north as Haifa near the Lebanon border and as far south as Eilat on the Red Sea. Variations of these weapons also have been assembled with increasing sophistication inside Gaza in underground factories.
@flipper1966 Prisoners can have weapons and still be prisoners. There have been plenty of open air prisons throughout history where people have formed militias complete with weapons.
Also, let's not ignore the fact that Israel allows Hamas to continue.
@BohemianBoo I do believe Israel's bombing campaign is crazy OVERKILL. The truth is Netanyahu doesn't want to risk the lives of the nice Jewish boys in the IDF so he relies on bombing. Netanyahu is a disgusting scumball.
@flipper1966 And that's part of what keeps Hamas going.
It's a lot like how America's invasion of Iraq led to more terrorist groups. We basically gave them free propaganda.
