Add another million.

[quote] One of the little known facts about World War II is that it was India’s contribution of men and material that bailed out the West.

Over 2.6 million Indian troops played a decisive role in the greatest conflict of the 20th century and helped Britain stay in the fight. Indian forces were dispatcher to major war zones across the globe. They terrorized German tank divisions in Africa, fought the Japanese in Burma, took part in the invasion of Italy, and played a ..

@KiwiBird two different types of india and American Indians.

Considering India's population even back then it's two different topics that were not talked about.
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@DeWayfarer I am aware. However the OP can not be talking about American Indians based on those numbers.

@DeWayfarer Well it was a woefully ignorant post then and why would I assume the intent was American Indians? Using the descriptive Indian usually means from India. If you are talking about Native or American Indians wouldn't you be more perscriptive. The numbers quoted of 1.5 million point to India not America.

@KiwiBird sorry, you were correct.

I didn't look at this users previous posts.

@DeWayfarer Even the Avatar should have clued you in. 🤣

All good.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@KiwiBird not at all. That could easily be American Indian. It shows her back.
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@DeWayfarer Give it up....lmfao. Look at the hair and clothing style. Indian Shiva Worshipper

@KiwiBird I actually have lived on an Indian reservation! Believe me they would look similar from the back. Even the clothes from the back are similar. It depends on which tribe. And there are many tribes.
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@DeWayfarer You did see the link. The Avatar is of a Shiva Worshipper. Hardly American Indian.

FFS give it up.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@KiwiBird yes and why I apologized! 🤣

Yet don't assume by clothing nor from a picture from anyone's back.

I do admit I made assumptions. Yet you are doing the same with the profile picture.
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@DeWayfarer I am assuming nothing the link I posted above talks about a Shiva Worshipper and clearly Hindu.

No tenuous links to America or it's First Nations people at all.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@KiwiBird I admitted my assumption! And you are not! 🤷🏻‍♂️😞
KiwiBird · 36-40, F
@DeWayfarer I have nothing to admit.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@KiwiBird you really do. Because I highly doubt you looked at anything on her profile until I made my assumption.

You didn't even bring it up until after I both retracted and apologized.

I see it, yet neither of us will get notifications! Sort of silly to block over this. Yet it's your choice.

Proof that I can see your reply

@DeWayfarer FYI I looked at the OP's profile before my first response.....and now your making even more unfounded assumptions. I wonder if you will even see this response because I am going use up a BLOCK.
