I Love Wwii History Anything About It

I Love War History. Napoleon. Ghengis Khan. Alexander the Great. Roman Empire, elEtc. Etc. But WWII is my greatest read. Want to know what you all think about WWII. Operation Babrbarossa. The largest land invasion in World History was launched at 03:15 on June 22n, 1941 over a 1,800 mile front. Encompassed nearly 4 million Axis triops. They were accompanied with 4038 tanks, 3,350 aircraft, 7,789 artillery pieces (not including mortors) 650,000 motor vehicles and 750,000 horses to carry the load. The Third Riech also stockpiled over 91,000 tons of fuel for the campaign. My question is. Do you think Hitler could have won the war? And IF so why? And IF he did. How would this world be different...today?

@LongDistanceRecon636 That's the problem though, they were desperate from the start and needed to conquer in order to get the basics i.e. oil, also their Tank line(for example) wasn't streamlined until posterior of the war which for a nation with limited resources is kind of dumb.

@LongDistanceRecon636 Thing is I don't believe they had the right mindset to do it right, also the Nazis really wanted Russia. I don't think they would have seen north Africa as a greater priority. The Luftwaffe and the Kriegsmarine were not up to par in terms of the opposition.

@LongDistanceRecon636 Maybe but if that is the question it wouldn't be a Nazi victory at that point, but yes I'd swipe the middle east and north Africa from the British and cut off their oil supplies, then streamline the war machine and bring the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine to par. I'd certainly not expel or kill all of the Jewish scientists(or really any innocents) that were instrumental to the opposition and only then I would consider Russia at the end winter to give me enough time to storm through to destroy their manufacturing infrastructure and kill Stalin.

@LongDistanceRecon636 That's what I'm saying, Einstein was Jewish(so were a lot of German scientists) and because of that, the Nazis viewed atomic science as not worthy of pursuit.
