A world war is looking more and more likely. I've been thinking for years now that it was coming but I suspected it would begin in the Middle East. I hadn't foreseen the election of a ridiculously immature lunatic to the highest post in the nation and his insane Twitter rantings and treasonous policies. I thought a world war would be something we would be dragged into, not something we would instigate ourselves.

You are correct. It is the conservatives who will be to blame for the inevitable conflict but who cares? This will not be a conventional war with guns and tanks and jet fighters. This will be a push-button war with nuclear warheads. The survivors crawling through the rubble won't care who started the war. They won't care about politics. Finding the next scrap of uncontaminated food will be quite enough to occupy their minds.
@FriendlyBryan I can not agree more Sir!...Glad that you agree to my view-point...Thank you...☺

You're forgetting a couple of important components. The first is geography. The next is that the U.S. military budget is just a touch less than the rest of the world combined. And a World War needs to have an end game. "Wiping out imperialism" or "Spreading communism" isn't at play.
But this is the one you really missed."The truth is USA is responsible for terrorism in this world." That's nonsense. Terrorism exists due to poverty, lack of opportunity and education, theology and corruption.
I hear what you're saying but it's way to simplistic for such a complex issue.
But I guess that stands to reason given your admiration of Putin.

@Ynotisay All talk is simplistic and unrealistic on the surface. It takes time to get down to the gritty and grimy details. Discussion of WW3 is usually nothing more than, "Dude, it's coming, man. It's fucking coming. Dude, it' gonna be a total clusterfuck! Dude!" But that doesn't mean it isn't really coming. I don't think anyone really wants another big one. China seems to be doing all it can to calm the waters. Even Russia is standing back and refusing to egg things on, even though an unstable USA works in their favor. No one wants this. Hell, you would think the crack-heads of ISIS would be exalting in the current rhetoric but even they have remained silent. They stick to their little bombs but they don't say anything about our relations with North Korea. No one wants WW3. But I fear that we're going to get it, regardless. Trump will undoubtedly do something incredibly stupid. It's the only thing he is actually any good at. Kim Jong-un will respond with something equally stupid and insane. And innocent neighbors will be dragged in against their will.

Yes, it's a very complicated subject and one that bears a great deal of discussion. But to discount it as simplistic just because most people don't want to get into the details is not helping. WW3 is a real threat and people should be taking it seriously. Our best move at this point is to remove Trump from power, by whatever means necessary. He is hell bent on the destruction of the world, whether he knows it or not.

@FriendlyBryan I think that given globalism we are as protected as we've ever been from a "World War." The world is far more interconnected than at any time in the past.
That said, there's no question in my mind that Trump should be removed from office. The little experiment is over. And my strong belief is that not only will Trump be removed or, more likely, resign, but I think it will happen sooner than later.
@FriendlyBryan Sir, you have explained it well to the gentleman @Ynotisay . He seems to be an optimistic fellow and believes that USA will not suffer at all. He's ignoring the fact that excess military budget does not fetch any good to the nation. Splurging the wealth of nation only in defence research and development does not generate cash flow and job opportunities in country, down goes the economy. In case, you come-up with an excuse that there's a demand or need for that then who is responsible for that need and demand???!!!

The so called dream of becoming a super-power may have come true but look at the consequences that USA itself and the world is bearing because of this good for nothing dream. USA may have a big military budget but there are other countries who have good military budget too. Let, 'World War 3' begin USA will get to experience that. I'll be very happy to see 'Pearl Harbour' repeated or something bigger than that.

Now, anyone who feels proud of the fact that USA avenged 'Pearl Harbour' by bombing Japan with atom bombs then he/she is simply praising the coward policies of USA because WW2 was not about nuclear attacks. Nuclear attack on Japan is considered to be an unfair warfare. Who can forget the most brutal US-Vietnam war??? Despite, the big military budget, USA failed to conquer Vietnam. Gallant Vietnamese soldiers chose to die facing the bullet rather than surrender. That's exactly what Chinese, North-Korean and the rest of the Asian Armies are all about. Asian armies may not have the best rather the most advanced super-sonic and nuclear weapons but they do have good amount of ammunition and large armies to make the battle-field a living hell for US defence forces. Asian soldiers may die but they'll die killing the US soldiers rather than just dying.

Nuke attacks of North-Korea is capable of bringing disasters in this world. This world-war will be an unforgettable catastrophe and who'll be responsible for that USA. 'Dooms Day' of world is near.

Like @FriendlyBryan mentioned, USA is not responsible for terrorism in this world but is definitely responsible for the wide-spread terrorism in this world. All big terrorist organisations and mafia in the world have arms and weaponry made in United States. What do you say about that?

You have your view-point and I have mine!...Let the time come, we'll see who's view-point would come true!...

So bush never started a war?😒

Sometimes it's hard to follow these threads and see which comment is referring to which. I assume you are saying that Lincoln was in the wrong party? That's not entirely true. We tend to overstate the importance of parties. It's not the party that matters, it's the ideology. It's not Republican and Democrat but conservative and liberal. The parties have changed. Lincoln was in the right party because, at that time, the Republicans were the liberal party. It was the Democrats in the south who owned slaves and wanted to keep them, who were willing to fight and die to protect the institution of slavery. It was the northern Republicans who were willing to fight and die for the concept of equality across racial boundaries.@BRICSruleNATOiscrybaby
@FriendlyBryan Well, what you mentioned is debatable but I again respect your view-point, Sir!...☺
FriendlyBryan · 51-55, M
@BRICSruleNATOiscrybaby Granted, the entire political spectrum was different at the time. But if you take the entire platform of the Lincoln's Republican party, both the conservative policies they might have espoused and the liberal ones, I think you will find that they leaned more toward the liberal side. The same analysis of the time's Democrats would show that they leaned more toward the conservative. In fact, Republicans leaned toward the liberal side for many years. It was Teddy Roosevelt who busted the banks and monopolies, something modern Republicans would never even consider. It was Eisenhower who commissioned the building of the interstate highway system, the larges public works project in the history of humanity and something today's Republicans would decry as socialism gone amok.
Wow 👍 So do you think the Russians had anything to do with Trump becoming President? ( hacking system/ re voting/elections) ...?
@TornByWater No mate!...Russians would never support an idiot US President...They are just waiting for the right opportunity to attack!...GOD bless them!...☺
Well I have my theory and it's this ... lol ;

I think that Russia hacked the systems rigging votes so Trump would become President and I think they did this because of Trumps personality .... all they needed was a bafoon to do the most responsible job in the world. And now look.... their carefully devised plan is proving to be working. Trump is a bafoon, a big mouth fool who is playing right into the hands of the Russians 😱😳@BRICSruleNATOiscrybaby
@TornByWater For a snob like Trump, Russians don't have to do anything because he himself is enough to concoct evil plans for himself and for problems in USA...Russian supporting Trump!...No way!...It's a good joke to laugh on!...☺👍

behind every big crime in this world, there's a rich Jew

FTFY
@Invisible Really???...Please study facts, gain some knowledge and then come back for a debate. Jews are powerful but they use power for the right cause, not like Americans just for domination!
