In the seventies and eighties there were very good Further Education Colleges across the country. To cater for sixteen year olds just below O Level standard, people with education disrupted. Giving others a second chance. They also catered for adults.
These would be excellent for our asylum seekers that lack formal education or training, but are nevertheless intelligent, and want to make their homes here and contribute to society.
Wow! What is still happening in and to England these days? I remember less protest against the ball-tampering in the past, but then again, I think that there's less thought of and in the lines of cricket these days in England. That's a shame and I don't blame immigrants here either. Poor England, I miss them days of cricket on BBC4 and summer afternoons just watching a game.
