We produced a bomb 700 times more powerful than Hiroshima, more than 70 years ago.

@Northwest they want to resupply their stock so they're asking Congress for permission.

@Northwest nope, the biggest is the B83/1.2 megatons
actually around 60 times more powerful than the nuke dropped on Hiroshima

Not certain what you're saying "nope" to.

I said:

The B82 is roughly 75X the maximum yield of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. It is also a variably yield weapon, which means it could be set to detonate at 2% that yield.

The 1952 test yielded 700X what we dropped on Hiroshima.

@SDavis You should really watch the last 20 seconds of this video, and I mean watch and listen.

@Northwest my apologies, it seemed to me as if you were referring to the largest bomb in the US arsenal and not the largest bomb they *TESTED.*

@Northwest I don't post anything I don't listen to or read. And there is a difference in having and testing.
