Nuclear weapons can silence armies, of course. And it makes many think they are safe.

But unfortunately grief does not recognize deterrence, and vengeance does not calculate strategic balance.

What is called ‘security’ often shields only the very powerful in your country while leaving your lower societies trapped in cycles of resentment.

You can have nuclear power and you will still have death.

It is self-destructive to be silent and watching. Thinking you're safe while someone else is paying the price.

It is just a matter of time.

What goes around does come around but it is not an intentional fair game. Some sort of a just mechanism in the background. The cost will not be paid equally. It is chaotic rage and it doesn't care that you think you're safe.

It is easy to preach love and forgiveness when it is not your turn to suffer, yet.

Okay, what can you do to change that situation? Like it or not these things have been going on since the beginnings of mankind. If you know how to stop this realistically please enlighten us.

We can do plenty to decrease this.

We.

I, you, they.

Opting for helplessness under the naturalistic argument that humans have always had this or that is mere defeatism. It is also based on unrealistic deterministic perception. Different humans behaved differently.

Humans have outgrown plenty of their behaviours across history, even when they were largely dominant across different cultures.

Some of these changes come about naturally. And some of them are the results of drastic social movements, intentional hard work

We work on ourselves. Question ourselves.

Don't support people who support war.

At least don't support their support of war.

Or the support of indiscriminate retaliation towards war. It is essentially the same.

Don't shelter them from accountability and sell them your voice instead of investing it in the healing journeys of those who need it most. Prevention.

Reach out, connect, love, empathize, help, educate, push for change both social and political and at the very root of every civilization; the youth.

Plenty of simple answers to a complex problem. But not simple enough for most people to implement them in their lives because it starts with a recognition and answering the question " how am I personally contributing to this? Me? How do I decrease it?"

It starts from there.
