Keep in mind that Charles is (me being a Canadian) our King.
Unlike presidents who serve for four years / eight years and are DONE... a monarch serves his / her people for DECADES.. Their perspective on history and public events has a luxury and perspective that a President can never have..they are not elected, they do not make laws they ADVISE and they consent to laws and policy being passed.. They have an authority we accept to take our best and better interest in mind to do good and to be good.. They way the UK monarchy is set up they do not cost anyone one dime... Their inherited property rights and the income they derive from this wealth sustains all expenses they incur and still returns a substantial portion BACK to the state... In other words they are contributors to society on every level and not a drain upon it...
Frankly what is LACKNG from the US perspective on how the people run things is the long term perspective a monarch provides and this is ABSENT from political bias... they do and say what works and impart wisdom and perspective where it is lacking... In the case of his Mother she had very little time to prepare for the job.. In the case of King Charles III - he had DECADES to learn the ropes and sorry to differ with you... He is extremely effective and imparts wisdom and perspective where it is specifically lacking...
The relationship and value of King Charles to the USA is of specific importance and your President acknowledges this and values what he has to say... I would think you could accept this fact graciously..
