Not really sure what NATO has to do with freedom but sure.
And a former coworker of mine who was in the Swedish Army mentioned that they have been a defacto NATO member for decades so in their case it is more a solidarity move than it is substantive.
Not sure about Finland. And it could get interesting with them since their border with Russia gets kind of messy in places.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow “Freedom loving peoples” here was a reference to the people of Sweden and Finland, assuming for the sake of argument they love freedom.

@Fukfacewillie My issue was more with the implication that nations that choose to not live under US hegemony somehow don't like freedom.
