Statistics are a lie! Anything either happens or it doesn't. There is only 50/50.

Statistics are about frequency or likelihood of things happening. If you walk across something in the floor often enough, you will eventually trip on it. Personally, I believe the numbers never lie. The problem is that they can be made to reflect whatever is desired by the guy setting the terms for a particular statistic.
