Hehe gas stoves! Do you honestly think Biden wants to ban them? Will the culture wars never end?

Of course you have to actually do the cleaning...

@soar2newhighs i have been using my elctric stove for ages. No warped pans, no burned bottoms.
Of course, i don't use inadequate tools in my kitchen. And i treat my tools properly. That's why I've had them for many years.

You can make up reasons why gas is better. In some instances it is. Like better heat control.
But, bottom line, it is a health hazard for many.
There is a reason why your gas water heater, dryer, gas heating units are all vented. Mine are anyway.

@Carla Re: gas stoves, there are ways to mitigate any harmful emissions.
As for you not having suffered warped pots and pans, I don’t know why, but it is a fact that electric stoves can and go warp pots and pans.

@soar2newhighs well...not mine. But i dont use cheap pots and pans.
The only time ive ever warped a pan is when i rinsed it before it was cool. And that was decades ago.
And i would imagine that proper venting will be looked at way before anyone bans gas stoves...
