I agree. The easiest way to identify misinformation is that the misinformers refuse to provide you the source of their claims. Misinformers want you to take it on faith without providing substantiation. Here are some examples of what that looks like:
In each case, the poster made broad claims and refused to substantiate them. That refusal is the tipoff that you've been presented with misinformation or disinformation.
